Connectors in Cyclr are the links that give you access to third-party applications and their data.
A Connector contains details of the authentication required by the external system, as well as the actions you can perform against it, implemented in Cyclr as Connector Methods.
When you install a Connector, you perform any setup and provide any credentials or details needed so that Cyclr can use it to exchange data with that system.
Cyclr has 2 separate Libraries of Connectors:
- Application Connectors – provide access to external applications.
- Utility Connectors – expose features of Cyclr’s such as storage and file generation.
Integrations created within Cyclr can use any combination of Connectors and any Connector Methods to work with the data you need to access.
If you need a Connector that isn’t in our Connector Libraries – perhaps for a system you or your customers use – you can either request a quote from the Cyclr Support Desk to have the Cyclr Connector Development Team create the Connector, or you may be able to build it yourself as a Custom Connector.
Note: Connectors located in our Connector Libraries are maintained by us.
You maintain any Custom Connectors that exist within your Console.
