Now let’s look at Template Releases, this is a versioning system to allow you to work on your workflows over time, and produce new versions that can be rolled out across your customers.

So for example, you’ll see this button here for Releases, if you click on this, you’ll see the individual versions of that workflow.

So in this case, we’ve got a live version, which we’ve added a release note here of just 1.0 and you can see what Applications Connectors are being used in that workflow.

You’ll see there’s also a draft release here, which is extended that further, what we can do is you can either promote that draft to live, which will then replace this.

One thing to bear in mind is live templates are not editable and if you wanted to make a new version of this and make something different, what you would need to do is click on the ‘copy release’, then set this as copying into this template, which you would do automatically, create copy, and you’ll see the new version is available here.

You could then edit the release, which will take you directly into the builder and allow you to build out your workflow, reconfigure it as you need it.

You can then go back to your template releases and when you’re happy with it, let’s say we want to revert to this version, which we will call 2.0.

Let’s promote that live and we can keep that as is or change it to whatever you need, click ‘OK’ and then that will make this available.

What you see here is there are incompatibility issues here, that means that the new workflow has a sufficient number of changes that additional steps will be required for setup.

What you can do is you can either go in and edit this and push that live, or make the amendments directly in the accounts for your customers to reinstall your workflow.
