Lesson 5 of 15
In Progress

The Builder Settings

Each cycle has its own Settings Page.

In the main section, you can tell Cyclr what to do when a Step Error occurs, either stop the cycle, ignore or retry this step.

You can choose whether to log the step requests as well as the responses.

If the cycle is going to run continuously, you can set the schedule here, you’ll be able to set the start time when you start the cycle itself.

We also have a section here for Collection Splitting.

The cycle is going to be operating on a collection of data, you can choose to split the transaction into separate transactions for each record, or have one transaction for the entire collection.

Next, we have cycle variables, if you want to store a value for use in your cycle, and be able to easily update it wherever it’s referenced, you can use cycle variables.

First, you enter a name for the variable and add it, then find a value for the variable. You’ll now be able to use this variable throughout your cycle.

Going back to the settings.

Next we have Data Retention settings, where you can set how long Cyclr retains transaction data, or leave it at the default 31 days.

Finally, we have the audit log where you can see the history of the cycle when it was started and by whom.
