Sometimes you may need to change one piece of information in multiple places in your Cycle.
An account number perhaps use throughout your Cycle, which is subject to change.
Updating each individual step manually would be laborious, especially if you’re working with a complex Cycle.
This is one place where Cycle Variables can be very helpful.
Ideally, you want to set these up when you first build your Cycle.
To setup a Cycle Variable go into the Settings for the Cycle.
Select the Variables Tab, give your variable a name and click to add.
You can now set an initial value for the Variable and place it through a Cycle like so.
Now updating this value across your Cycle is as simple as going back to Settings, Variables, and updating this value.
That value will now be populated across all the steps.
