We’re going to look at the new Webhook feature, what you can do is open that up, drag a step on to the builder. And from here, you can configure everything from a single place.
So what we want to do is we’re going to want to define what data the Webhook is looking to receive. So in this case, I’m just going to put in Bitcoin, crypto currency, price, find a use case.
So in this case, we’ll go coin and then an example. So that could just be example for now. And then we’ll do currency.
Okay, and we have our new webhook URL available here. So what I’m going to do first is I’m going to take this, and I’m going to use Postman to trigger the webhook.
So what you’ll see in Postman, if we put the new Webhook URL in here, we need to first of all, make sure it’s a post. And the other change you’ll need to make is by clicking on body, go to raw, and make sure it then accepts JSON, we can go back here and take our example JSON. And put this in here. So that will be what we’re sending. So to test this out, first of all, let’s just put something different.
Going back to the builder, there’ll be ready to send. So what we do now is save it.
And to test this out, we’re gonna need another step on the builder. So let’s just put decision step in for now. Connect those up.
And we’re just going to see if something exists. So in this case, does coin exist, close that and click on Run, we can now go back into Postman, and trigger our Webhook.
So we can see that it’s been accepted. And if we go back into Cyclr. That has now been received. So we can go into look at the step data, let’s have a look at the transaction itself. So that has received what we’ve sent it via Postman and has then gone into the decision step.
