Setup & Authentication
Remote Setup in Keap – performed by Cyclr Partner
You will need a Keap developer account and to create an App within it.
- If you have a Keap developer account, sign in to it, else create one.
- One you have signed in, on the right of the top navigation bar, select your username/email and then select “Apps”.
- Select “+ NEW APP”.
- Enter a name for the App and optionally a description.
- You must activate API access for this App by toggling the option.
- Select “CREATE”.
- Your Client ID (Key) and Client Secret (Secret) will be displayed under “API Keys”.
You can view Keap’s own technical documentation for additional information on how Cyclr authenticates with Keap’s API.
Partner Setup in Cyclr Console
Having created the Auth app within your Keap developer account, go into your Cyclr Partner Console:
- Go to Connectors > Application Connector Library.
- Use the search box to locate the Keap Connector entry.
- Select the Pencil button.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Enter the following values:

| Client ID | The Key value of your Keap app. |
| Client Secret | The Secret value of your Keap App. |
Note: If you leave these values blank, they must be provided each time a Keap Connector is installed.
Cyclr Connector Installation
When installing a Keap Connector, the user will be taken to a Keap login page where they sign in and give consent for your App to access their data.
Additional Information
State and Country codes
The Keap API has strict requirements for valid State/Province and Country codes.
To make sure you use a valid State or Country code, the Connector’s Methods include Lookup options for them.
