What Are Sub-Accounts?
Sub-accounts help you organize multiple locations or divisions under one customer account, making it easier to manage complex customer structures.
For example, if your customer has several branches or offices, you can create a sub-account for each branch. In a nutshell, sub-accounts help you manage large customers who have multiple departments or locations.
Benefits of Sub-Accounts

One of the main advantages of sub-accounts is that they all have access to any connector that is installed in their parent account. This makes integration management a lot easier for you, as you only need to install a connector once per customer instead of having to install it several times to each sub-account.
Apart from that, sub-accounts are treated as any other account, each having its own concurrent transaction limit and isolated instance. While each sub-account you create has access to all connectors in the parent account, they can also store their own cycles that are private to the sub-account.
This allows the main company to share access to installed connectors and keep their associated accounts organized and separated at the same time.
How to Create Sub-Accounts in Cyclr
Here is how you can create sub-accounts to your Accounts:
- Navigate to Account Management in your Partner Console.
- Locate the parent Account for which you want to create sub-accounts. You can utilize the search bar available at the top of the Accounts list.
- In the “Sub-Accounts” column, you’ll see a number. This number indicates how many sub-accounts the Account has (e.g. “0” if there are none yet). Clicking the number will direct you to the Account’s sub-account management settings. This is where you can manage the sub-accounts, update their settings and add users to them.
- Once you’re on the sub-account management page, click on the “Add New Sub-Account” button. Fill out the fields just like you would for a regular Account and save your settings.
Sub-accounts make it easy to manage large customers with multiple locations or departments. Each sub-account is like a child of the main Account, sharing resources but keeping its data separate.
