Stripe – Setup

Introduction

To connect with Stripe using Cyclr’s Stripe (API Key authenticated) Connector, an API Key is required.

Setup & Authentication

Overview

Your customer’s setup:

  • Provide a Stripe API Key

Remote Setup in Stripe – performed by your customer

Your customer must generate an API key from their Stripe account.

API Key

  1. Log in to the Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Developers > API keys.
  3. Under Standard keys, locate or generate:
    • Secret Key (used for authentication)
  4. Copy the Secret Key securely.

Warning: The Secret Key is only shown once when created. If lost, a new key must be generated.

When installing a Stripe (API Key) Connector, the following values are used:
