Amazon Simple Email Service – Setup

Obtain Authentication Details

To authenticate an Amazon Simple Email Service Connector, you need the following authentication details from Amazon:

• Access Key ID
• Access Secret Key
• AWS Region

You can get the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key from an Amazon IAM console:
https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/

1. From the navigation menu, select Users.
2. Select your IAM user name.
3. Open the Security credentials tab, and then select Create access key.
4. To see the new access key, select Show. Your credentials resemble the following:
   • Access key ID: AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE
   • Secret access key: wJalrXUtnFEMI/K7MDENG/bPxRfiCYEXAMPLEKEY
5. To download the key pair, you can select Download .csv file.

Cyclr Connector Installation

When installing an Amazon Simple Email Service Connector, the following values are used:

Property	Description
AWS Access Key	The Amazon Access Key created.
AWS Secret Key	The Amazon Secret Key.
Aws Region	The AWS Region where the Amazon service to be accessed is located.
