Cyclr Top Tip: Get real-time documentation support with Cypher
Introducing Cypher: Your Cyclr Documentation Assistant – Now in BETA
Navigating a feature-rich platform like Cyclr can raise a lot of questions. Whether you’re setting up your first account, building out templates, or trying to understand the Cyclr API, sometimes you just need a clear answer without digging through an entire knowledge base.
To make this easier, we’ve introduced Cypher, a chat-based Documentation Bot built to help you get the information you need, when you need it.
What is Cypher?

Cypher is Cyclr’s Documentation Bot. It’s designed to help answer questions regarding all things Cyclr, from creating templates and managing accounts, to building marketplaces, consuming the Cyclr API and much more.
Cypher is trained on Cyclr’s documentation and is available now on the Community Site. It can assist with a wide range of topics related to the Cyclr platform, from everyday questions to more advanced topics.
Cypher exists completely outside of the Cyclr Console. It has no access to your data, workflows, user settings, or any live system information. You can use it freely without any risk of affecting your integrations or customer environments. Cypher is focused solely on guidance and information, and cannot therefore help you with specifics of your own Console setup.
Cypher is currently available to all Community Site users in Beta. We’re actively collecting feedback about its performance from the community. So if you spot areas where Cypher could be more helpful, or if it doesn’t quite understand your question, please let us know.
What Cypher Can Do
Cypher is focused on helping you get acquainted with Cyclr, helping you understand how to get started on building templates, make use of Cyclr’s tools, and grasp the terminology. It can also guide you on best practices and even give you a hand with scripting. It understands the structure and language of our documentation and can answer questions in a conversational format.
Think of it as a quicker, more interactive way to access the information that’s already available, but without needing to know the exact keywords, links or section titles. It can help you adapt the knowledge from our documentation into practical scenarios.
Here are a few ways Cypher can assist:
- Template design support
If you’re building a template and not sure how to approach the structure, Cypher can provide guidance based on common use cases. Give it a go with questions like “How can I create a template integration between Salesforce and Google Sheets in Cyclr?” – Cypher can explain how to install and authenticate the connectors, walking you through the first steps of creating a new template, and what to consider when mapping fields and testing everything out.
- Account and marketplace management
Cypher can help clarify how accounts work in Cyclr, how users are assigned roles, and how to control access to marketplaces. If you’re unsure about configuration steps or looking to troubleshoot, it can walk you through the right parts of the documentation to point you to the right direction.
- Cyclr API assistance
Cypher can offer guidance on using the Cyclr API based on the available documentation, from how to authenticate, what the different endpoints do, and how to interpret responses.
- Understanding Cyclr terminology
Sometimes it’s the terminology itself that trips people up. Cypher can help define key platform concepts like connectors, templates, users, accounts, and more. You don’t have to phrase things perfectly to get a useful answer.

Why We Built Cypher
Cyclr users are working in a variety of roles, often under time pressure. While our documentation is extensive, sometimes you just want a quick answer without having to track down a specific article from the documentation. Cypher helps reduce this friction by giving you a more direct way to interact with the knowledge you need.
The bot supports users who prefer a self-service approach but want something faster than a manual search or posting a question on the forums. It also helps those who are new to Cyclr and might not yet know the right terminology to use in a documentation search.
A Growing Resource
Cypher is still in its early stages. Over time, its understanding and usefulness will grow, especially as more people interact with it and share feedback. The more we learn from actual usage, the better Cypher becomes at handling both common and niche questions.
We’re also exploring ways to expand its capabilities in future updates. Right now, Cypher is focused on documentation-based guidance and light workflow design support. But we’re keeping an eye on what features would be most valuable to add next, based on user input.

Try It Out and Leave Feedback
Cypher is available now in beta on the Cyclr Community site. If you’ve ever found yourself stuck on a setup step, or if you’ve lost time trying to locate a specific API reference, Cypher is ready to help.
To try it out, just visit the dedicated Cypher page on the Community Site and start typing your question.
Cypher is here to make working with Cyclr easier. Whether you’re building, managing, or learning, it gives you a faster way to find the information you need, so you can focus on what you’re building, not just how to build it.
