This guide explains how to obtain authentication details and install a Close Connector.

Setup & Authentication

Overview

Cyclr Partner Oauth Setup:

  • Create an Oauth App in your Close account.
  • Store your Client ID and Secret in your Cyclr Partner Console.

Remote Setup in Close – performed by Cyclr Partner

Go to your Close account and select Settings > Connect > Developer

From the main window, select the ‘Oauth Apps’ tab and then select to create a new app.
Provide the required details, when asked for the Redirect URL please enter the callback URL from your cycle partner console (in this format: https://{Your Cyclr Service Domain}/connector/callback)

When saving you will be shown your Client ID and Client Secret, please make a note of these as the client Secret will not be available to view again once the window is closed.

Partner Setup in Cyclr Console

Having created an OAuth app within Close, navigate to your Cyclr Partner Console:

  1. Go to Connectors > Application Connector Library.
  2. Use the search box to locate the Close Connector entry.
  3. Select the Pencil button.
  4. Select the Settings tab.
  5. Enter the below values:

  1. Select Save Changes.

If you leave these values blank, they must be provided each time the Connector is installed.

Cyclr Connector Installation

When installing the Close Connector no additional values are needed.
