BigChange is a UK job management platform for field service businesses such as engineers, installers and trades. It covers scheduling, dispatching workers, tracking vehicles, and invoicing.
Introduction
This guide explains how to set up BigChange for use with Cyclr, as well as how to install a BigChange Connector.
The BigChange REST API uses OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Grant authentication for machine-to-machine integrations. You must register an application in the BigChange Developer Portal and obtain an API Key and Secret. You will also need the Customer ID for the BigChange account whose data the Connector will access.

Setup & Authentication
Overview
Your customer’s setup:
- Create an API Key in the BigChange Developer Portal.
- Obtain the API Key and Secret.
- Obtain the Customer ID for the BigChange account.
- Provide these values when installing the Connector.
Remote Setup in BigChange — performed by your customer
Your customer must register their application details on the BigChange platform. They can then generate an API Key and Secret.

When installing a BigChange Connector, the following values are used:
Client ID
Client Secret
Customer ID
